Uses knowledge of student development to make learning experiences in the content area meaningful and accessible for every student.
- I use knowledge of student development to make learning experience in the content area meaning fun and accessible for every student by creating modifications for every lesson plan to fit all students needs. I am always sure to have a way to meet students needs who may have an impairment or developmental delay, or a student that may have a cultural responsiveness.
Relates ideas and information within and across content areas.
- I related ideas and information across content areas with students when implementing a mini unit with students. This allows them to learn about a topic of interest all while still meeting math, science, writing and language standards. I have found this to be a great way to have students engaged in their own learning.
